Capacity Building and Sustainability Specialist

The Capacity Building and Sustainability Specialist is responsible for expanding Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado's reach and impact through strategic partnership development and funding initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and cultivating relationships with potential community partners, donors, and funding agencies. The Specialist will work to secure financial support and resources necessary for the growth and sustainability of Junior Achievement's anti-poverty programs. By leveraging these partnerships and funding opportunities, the Specialist will play a crucial role in enabling Junior Achievement to meet its mission objectives and serve the Greater Colorado community more effectively. Reporting to the Philanthropic Partnerships Manager, the Specialist will focus on building the capacity of the organization to sustain and expand its impact.

Community Engagement Catalyst

The Community Engagement Catalyst will play a pivotal role in expanding our volunteer initiatives and enhancing our ability to serve the Central and Southeastern Colorado Springs communities effectively. This position involves working closely with our team to develop, promote, and manage volunteer programs that align with our mission and address community needs. The Catalyst will engage with stakeholders to determine the programming mix that should be offered in partnership with the Pikes Peak United Way Family Success Center, identifying programming opportunities, and launching pilot programs to support low-income families. Reporting to the Senior Program and Impact Manager, the Catalyst will cultivate relationships with local volunteers, community organizations, and stakeholders to foster a vibrant culture of volunteerism and community engagement.

Sustainable Expansion Specialist, Western Slope

The Sustainable Expansion Specialist will play a pivotal role in expanding Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado's reach and impact across the Western Slope, focusing specifically on Garfield, Delta, and Mesa Counties, while also exploring new opportunities in the region. This role will involve strategic planning, relationship building, and community engagement to ensure the successful implementation and sustainable growth of our programs. By developing and implementing initiatives aimed at alleviating poverty, the Specialist will work to create lasting economic opportunities and improve educational outcomes. Reporting to the District Manager of the Roaring Fork Valley office, the Specialist will collaborate closely with educational partners, community organizations, and stakeholders to foster a robust ecosystem for Junior Achievement's anti-poverty initiatives.
